(Small side note: if anyone reads this, I hope that they will bug me if I haven't posted a message in a while. I want to be consistent in posting, but sometimes life can get in the way. So you have my permission to do this.)

This last week, God has been reminding me of how small I am and how big He is.
In Psalm 19:1-3 is says
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after Day they pour forth speech, night after night they display knowlege. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard."

I saw a picture of earth from space. It was beautiful, but I sure couldn't see my state, or my city from that view. Then I saw a picture of our milky way galaxy.I couldn't even pick out my continent I live on. Then I saw a picture of just part of the universe...the big, massive, huge, ginormous universe we are a part of. They couldn't even put an arrow on it to point to the speck of where we are...because we are so small. God's even bigger than the universe. Yea, it blows my mind--too big for me to handle.
Yet, the infinte, all-knowing God who created all this, still cares about the details of my life. In Matthew 10:30, it says that even the very hairs on my head are numbered. So I say all this because it has really helped me in dealing with all the stressful things in my life. They just aren't that big of a deal when I picture the earth from space. You certainly can't see me from there. I've had some big stuff happen these past few weeks. But God, who created the big, bad universe, is still taking care of little me and everyone else, in his infinite love are care. He is still providing for me and my family, and he continues to hold me in his arms. It's a great thing to find the peace of God, the peace that passes all understanding. I wish that for you, too.
What a great God we serve!
